IMPACT’s agency-to-client relationship charter outlines how we deal with clients and sets the framework for success.
It states:

  1. We will never know as much about our clients’ businesses as they do; they will never understand PR and consumer dialogue as well as we do
  2. We will seriously work towards helping our clients resolve their business and communications challenges. We won't muck around. We will endeavour to know as much as possible
  3. A serious attempt will be made to create and implement PR campaigns that are more effective, more noticeable and more disruptive that those of our clients’ competitors
  4. To this affect, we will only put forward bold ideas and compelling campaigns that we truly believe will positively impact our clients’ businesses
  5. We will tell our clients the truth, however unpalatable. We also want to hear the truth from our clients
  6. Our clients will respect our talent and approve or disapprove work. They will not tinker
  7. We will stay abreast of changes in traditional and new media. We will tell you about them, and we will recommend what's relevant
  8. We will show initiative to seek our clients’ advice and guidance on their markets as well as their restraints
  9. Conviction will prevail, not compromise
  10. We will innovate with meaning and purpose. Not for its own sake


IMPACT defines what success looks like, mutually agreeing on KPIs at the beginning of each campaign; they focus on outcomes before outputs to provide a more accurate measure of the impact activity is having on strategic and campaign objectives.

Campaign success is underpinned by strong client relationships and rigorous account management procedures to ensure activity is delivered on strategy, on time and on budget.

Minimum monthly face-to-face account meetings, regular phone liaison, hands-on senior staff members, weekly activity reporting and campaign result reporting ensures transparency and allows clients to understand where the campaign is up to at any given time.

IMPACT is transparent in the development of campaign budgets, which are set and agreed to upfront, to alleviate any uncertainty about final costs. IMPACT’s clients’ budgets are used in the most efficient way possible to ensure best return on investment. IMPACT also has a service guarantee; “If IMPACT doesn’t meet the agreed level of service, we’ll do the outstanding work for free”.

IMPACT’s directors have a real passion and commitment for PR and are hands-on in developing and implementing campaigns. They do not believe in relegating clients to junior staff.

IMPACT also conducts biannual client surveys to seek feedback on communications management, strategic and creative approach, results and relationship, to continuously improve service to clients and the professional development of staff members.
